I really appreciated the thoughtfulness in taking care of their guests in making the surprise wonderful. They had all of the logistics down to a T: the family arrived early while we waited for the couple to arrive, gave us all a heads up when the couple arrived so that we wouldn’t be seen, and even help coordinated the whole surprise perfectly for the couple to enjoy their moment with the best view of the skyline behind them (while I snapped photos from the rooftop of the boat!) Captain Brian and Captain John made the experience super personable and customized to the needs of their guests.    On our family's behalf, my cousin rented the boat for the dispersement of family ashes (i.e. his father, his sister, my mother and another first cousin).  The boat is beautiful and the process of dispersing our relatives' ashes was done in a very respectful and efficient manner.  We could not have asked for a more beautiful day with caring, respectful and attentive staff.  After the ashes were released into Lake Michigan, there was a much needed drive around the lake viewing the beautiful skyline and architecture of Chicago. The tour brought us from Northerly Island up to the Gold Coast and back again with views of the planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, and Navy Pier.    Amazing experience on the water.  I had one of my favorite times on the water, mainly because of this boat and the wonderful staff.  It felt so personal and comfortable.  The staff were very attentive and knew exactly what we needed before we needed it.  From the time we got on board to the point we departed, all I kept thinking was I want to do it again next week.  Captain was great, normally you are bouncing around on the boat, but somehow the captain kept the boat away from the waves and it was such as smooth comfortable ride. The boat had tons of areas to hang out especially when you have some friends that want to be up on the front and pretend to do the scene from Titanic and others just wanted to sit back and relax in the covered part of the boat enjoying a drink.    This spring we were looking rent a private yacht in Chicago for an end of summer yacht cruise. What we found was a lot of booze cruise in Chicago or just plain boat rental in Chicago that were not a luxury yacht, just average large boats that allow drinking. My thought on this was that if I was going to splurge on this vacation, I wanted the best yacht rental Chicago has to offer. I found Adeline's Sea Moose and was elated by her sleek beauty, truly a beautiful yacht. This is what I was looking for in a luxury yacht rental (if I'm going to spend the money, I want the best yacht rental available). It is indescribable, but I will do my best. When you first board her, you are greeted with smiles and welcomes. You walk into the lounge and are offered a drink to relax and socialize with family and friends. The lounge area has a beautiful open view with extravagant seating, just beautiful. It also has a full kitchen, which I was told is called the "galley", learn something new everyday, along with a nice dining area. I lost count of the bedrooms or cabins I'm told, along with 2.5 bathrooms. My favorite area was the fly bridge on top of the yacht. Sitting up there with a drink (or 2 maybe) and taking in the sights and fantastic conversation with Captain Brian, he is a great guide, describing what buildings were what in the Chicago skyline. Maybe he is a Chicago Historian? Our cruise took us out and around the Chicago lakefront. It was so beautiful and we couldn't have asked for better weather. I will always remember the view of the Chicago Skyline, nothing like it that I have ever seen before. The whole yacht cruise was nothing but perfect in every way. The crew, drinks, food, and scenery was fantastic. Nothing but smiles, conversation and a great experience is what we received. This was the perfect vacation and all because I chose the best yacht rental that Chicago has to offer. Remember her name, Adeline's Sea Moose, you will absolutely never regret it. The waters were a bit choppy but they wasted no time getting us to places where the water was calm and we could enjoy ourselves. Also we ended up being late due to a lot of construction and a bears preseason game, so we lost some time on the boat. However, the captain was able to give us some extra time on the end of the trip and we had minimal time lost as a result. Everyone on the boat is remarkably kind and attentive and makes you feel like the guest of honor for the entire time you're on the water.    Wow, talk about an unexpected weekend! My buddy and I came into Chicago from Missouri for a ballgame. Met some people at Wrigley and the next thing we knew we were invited to a Lake Michigan yacht charter. It was this guy's birthday party and it was awesome. Even though we only knew a couple of people we had a blast. The crew was great and they had a bartender...ehem, sorry, a mixologist, who knew their stuff. They catered food, and it was just awesome. Am I still pumped from the party? You bet I am. Next time we come up for a Cards/Cubs game I'm gonna see if we can do this again. Probably the best weekend I've had since I was in college. The first time I was invited to a corporate party on Lake Michigan and our awards ceremony was a yacht charter for about 30 people. This last trip was a docent-led cruise for a bunch of my nerdiest partying friends, lol. It was great and with the open bar, and a buffet-style lunch I was in heaven. We had a fun and fairly tame afternoon and the weather was perfect. But I imagine the Sea Moose would be a great party boat on Lake Michigan if you really want to get down. The crew was awesome and attentive, and the captain really made sure everything ran smoothly. His crew is really top-notch. With the nice breeze on a hot day I really felt like I was on Bravo's Below Deck for those few hours.    I was able to take a voyage on the sea moose today.  I have to say this is the most beautiful charter boat I have been on!  The crew and captain keep everything clean and classy.  It is very comfortable from the couch in the back to the seating in the bow. I got to sit up on the bridge with captain Brian.  He is one funny guy and his crew have a great attitude as well.  It seems like everyone on board absolutely loves being there. It was so cool to sit at the bar, get a drink and just look around at the classic appointments.  I was told the boat was over 50 years old but boy it doesn't look it.  You can tell it is very well maintained and looked after. Just a true classic.    Wow. We celebrated our friends wedding and every single aspect was first rate. Captain John (hope I remembered the name correctly) and his crew were so accommodating. The bartender was so attentive and quick and the crew was there for every need. We even outran a storm and it was awesome to watch those views. Safety, accommodation, and friendly crew. Everyone was very friendly and super attentive, almost as if anticipating each needed refill, blanket, etc. The boat was well equipped with multiple social spaces, heads (restrooms), and seating areas, including a flybridge up top with amazing views. From the booking and planning processes to the occasional check in emails to the actual event, the Adeline's Sea Moose team exceeded my expectations. The Sea Moose is beautiful - 50 years old but in top-notch shape with lots of spaces for everyone to spread out and enjoy. The crew were fantastic - highly professional, friendly, accommodating. Food and beverage service were wonderful. We really could not have asked for a better experience (plus fireworks on a Saturday night - amazing!). Chelsea, the administrative assistant and scheduler answers emails in 24 hour or less and is very helpful with answering questions and providing examples to help customize the perfect charter for your group. Personable - the entire crew Flexible - The crew at ASM was very flexible throughout the process of securing the charter and the day of.  There was a thunderstorm in chicago 30 minutes prior to Pro Tip:  The Captain smokes, so if you have a sensitivity to smoking, just make sure you let Chelsea know that your group is sensitive to smoking. Pro Tip:  Call the crew 5 minutes before you show, because they have to come out to a gate to get you.  We were in the middle of a rain storm and had to wait 5 minutes at the gate before getting on the boat.  Therefore, our group was soaked on our way on. It really affected our group because it set a bad tone. But, once everyone was warm we had a great time.

Captain Brian's leadership and the kind attention of staff/crew Emmanuel, Armando, and Chester helped made the day more beautiful and memorable than we imagined.  Verified  5 stars are not enough for Adeline's Sea Moose! We had an intimate wedding in here this June and everything was amazing. Huge shout out to Rebecca and Captain Brian who have been so nice and personal. We could feel that they are really doing their best to make our experience beyond expectation.
